    beautiful fabric, weak seams

    The fabric is beautiful and it fits well. Got some pilling after the first wash, but it was ok.
    However, the seam on the shoulder opened after a couple times being used.

    Shrinking upon washing

    Shirt bought in size M.
    Fit perfectly (best fit I've found yet) when bought but upon washing (30 degrees celcius) and hang drying (as instructed on the label) the shirt shrank more than a whole size. To illustrate just how much, the collar had a bit of room when fully buttoned up before washing the shirt. It's strangling now.
    The biggest issue is that one side seems to have shrank more than the other resulting in an uneven hem and the front placket no longer being centered.
    Real shame as I loved the fit, color, fabric and overall feeling of the shirt.
    I've noticed the oversized t-shirts need to be bought a size up too as they shrink in the wash. I wish Rapanui would specify wether they pre-wash their products or not and if not, how much shrinkage to expect.

    I'll be returning it to have it recycled.
