For The Spirit of Spring, we grabbed some old and new friends and headed to a new location on the Isle of Wight.
We wanted to capture the feeling of emerging from the cold months and looking forward to long days exploring new places with good company.
In front of the camera, we assembled a group of creatives and artists who share a love of the outdoors. Beth, an Islander, is a musician who takes inspiration from the coastlines she’s always lived near. Sophie creates wearable pieces of ocean art with her business Bahari Blu. Andy, a dancer, florist, and gardener, is redesigning a garden space on England’s south coast. Rory trained as a marine biologist and works to protect the marine environment.
The crew headed to the south coast of the Isle of Wight, with a bike and skateboards at hand.

Tradewinds Beach Cafe, a local favourite eatery, provided the perfect spot to shelter from a midday spring shower. Ralph the Retriever, production runner and model, was in his element with a long empty beach to explore all day.
“We wanted to showcase layers that are great for spring. Knitwear is a spring classic because it’s warm and breathable, and shirts are a really versatile layering piece. Of course, rain is still never far away at this time of year, so we took along our new Ebb Lightweight Smock, a perfect thrown-on for showers.” Saskia, stylist.
