I just came back from a lengthy dog walk in torrential rain. I was outside for about 90 minutes and might as well been in a power shower- it was raining so hard. When I took of the coat I was bone dry. Absolutely amazing. The coat is also warm, has deep pockets, a very handy front zip pocket, a beautiful colour( orange) , a big hood ( one that doesn't always slides down). I normally wear a size 12, and went for the L for this coat. That leaves enough space to wear a wooly jumper underneath. So, all in all, highly recommended.
