The choice of base product is generous and I would think cover most requirements, including plain and striped in a wide range of colours, and some tie-dye. There is a tool to add your text including some presets, but it really comes into its own with the possibility to add your own graphic. I had a fight with GIMP to get exactly what I wanted, but this is not Rapanui's fault (it's probably easier if you are a Photoshop person). I got there eventually (please check your design thoroughly!) and it came out great. I really can't fault this option for custom t-shirts: great base product, ethical, lots of custom options including uploading your own graphic, and even the delivery was efficient and painless.
