A challenging, yet spectacular coastal walk starts from Rhossili village and heads out to the tip of Worm\u2019s Head, a giant dragon\u00a0 shaped headland.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">This tidal island is only accessible 2.5 hours either side of low tide, giving you a 5 hour window to get to the tip and back. This gives the hike a real sense of adventure.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Mike (<\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mike._adventures\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\"><u>@mike._adventures<\/u><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">) tells us why he loves this area.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">\u201cWorm\u2019s Head is a peninsular that can only be accessed at low tide so you have to pick the correct time of year and keep up with tide times. It feels like a real adventure. It\u2019s incredibly beautiful with its scenic landscape. It\u2019s one of the UK\u2019s most spectacular wildlife spectacles where you can spot Puffins, Gannets, and Guillemots.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">This circular walk starts in the small village of Bempton and takes you to the RSPB reserve at the dramatic Bempton Cliffs.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Stacey (<\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stacey_leigh88\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\"><u>@stacey_leigh88<\/u><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">) tells us why this one is worth a visit.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">\u201cFor anyone visiting the North East of England, Bempton is a must. A haven for photographers to see thousands of seabirds in their natural habitat, or if you\u2019re a nature buff, like me, who\u2019s a sucker for a good view. This is a place of legend. The Old Man of Storr is said to be the thumb of a dead giant emerging above ground.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">For this hike, start at the car park along the A855 north of Portree then follow a wide path uphill to the Old Man of Storr. This path goes over some rocky, uneven ground, with some scrambling involved. I\u2019ve always loved the northern Celtic lands, lands of legends, with their uncertain climate that offers photographers exceptional light. The beaches here are often quiet, in fact you\u2019ll often have them to yourself. This coastal walk starts in Embleton and visits Dunston Castle. You then join the coastal path to Craster, before heading back to Embleton.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Outdoors photographer, Greg (<\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/distant\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\"><u>@distant<\/u><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">), says this is a charming place to visit.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">\u201cPicturesque coastlines, ancient castles, and charming market towns. It\u2019s hard not to fall in love with the natural beauty of Northumberland.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><\/p><h3>Freshwater, Isle of Wight<\/h3><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/ys7v7ccjoezjavz20nlnonq2e4k0pirqc7jamodyhmxw4vem.jpg.jpg?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"Freshwater, Isle of Wight\" title=\"Freshwater, Isle of Wight\" \/>Freshwater, Isle of Wight<\/p><p><strong>Route<\/strong>: Freshwater Bay to The Needles<\/p><p><strong>Distance<\/strong>: 3 miles<\/p><p>Call us biased, but we think the Isle of Wight is packed full of some of the best coastal scenery in the UK. This route starts from the beautiful bay on the doorstep of Rapanui HQ, Freshwater Bay, a great swimming spot with a reef full of marine life. The route to the Needles heads over Tennyson Down, with soaring views out to the English channel, before reaching one of the UK\u2019s most famous natural wonder.<\/p><p>Matt, from the Rapanui team, says this is one of his favourite walks on the Island.<\/p><p>\u201cThis coastal walk really does have it all: A good swim spot, amazing views out to sea, and plenty of good snack spots. I love the colours at Tennyson Down, from the chalky white cliffs, to the lush green of the perfect grass and yellow Gorse. It\u2019s soul soothing.\u201d<\/p><p><br \/><\/p><h3><strong><span style=\"font-family:Poppins, sans-serif;\">LLangennith, Gower<\/span><\/strong><\/h3><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/5bashktwhzzvk2opcpua7u4ny6ojzj5uttjzlrfjq7jlsmoo.jpg.jpg?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"LLangennith, Gower\" title=\"LLangennith, Gower\" \/><em>Credit:<\/em> <span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">@ellierayer<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Route: <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">LLangennith to Rhossili circular<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Distance<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">: 4.2 miles<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Ok, we may have already picked a walk on the Gower, but the beach at Llangennith is too good to miss. It\u2019s a long, sandy beach that's a favourite for surfers. You can start this walk at a campsite by the beach. At low tide, you can then walk the whole length of the beach towards Worm\u2019s Head, before heading back to the start via Rhossili Down.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Olympic medallist Ellie Rayer (<\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/ellierayer\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\"><u>@ellierayer<\/u><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">) told us LLangannith is a special place.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">\u201cLLangennith is a complete gem that people don\u2019t really know about so it\u2019s quietly buzzing. The Gower Peninsular is stunning come rain or shine. My favourite walk is over the hill, to Rhossili and out to Worm\u2019s Head when the tide is right\u2026 with a pub stop and beach chill to recover afterwards!\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><\/p><h3><strong><span style=\"font-family:Poppins, sans-serif;\">Durdle Door, Dorset<\/span><\/strong><\/h3><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/9r5hzkop6nsdrle0sw515ilkkaeyoyntuibwnflkfwelsyz2.jpg.jpg?w=1140&amp;z=1.2000000000000002&amp;fx=0.49048030241996277&amp;fy=0.4864836957960523&amp;v=2\" alt=\"Durdle Door, Dorset\" title=\"Durdle Door, Dorset\" \/><em>Credit:<\/em> <span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">@davesnowdonphotography<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Route<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">: Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door and Ringstead Ba<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Distance<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">: 7.2 miles<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">This is a very popular section of the south coast, and for good reason. The chalk cliffs and green grass make for a stunning palette that soothes the soul. This walk starts and ends at Lulworth cove, then heads over the fields and above the cliffs of White Nothe, and weaves back via Bat's Head, Durdle Door and Man O' War Cove.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Dave (<\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/davesnowdonphotography\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\"><u>@davesnowdonphotography<\/u><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">) sent in this suggestion, saying it\u2019s a place to clear the mind.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">\u201cThere are fantastic views along the whole path and the continuous presence of the ocean is so good for the mind, body and soul.\u201d<\/span><\/p><p><br \/><\/p><h3><strong><span style=\"font-family:Poppins, sans-serif;\">Ilfracombe, Devon<\/span><\/strong><\/h3><p><img src=\"https:\/\/images.teemill.com\/s1iqz1wbny2x6pqkrsa9xjlftzjftd3gnx2wvlbfjitrkc5l.jpg.jpg?w=1140&amp;v=2\" alt=\"Ilfracombe, Devon\" title=\"Ilfracombe, Devon\" \/><em>Credit:<\/em> <span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">@kjane_overthehedge<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Route<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">: Ilfracombe to Woolacombe (South West Coastal Path)<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Distance<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">: 8.3 miles<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">This section of the South West Coastal path in North Devon is awash with lush and verdant panoramic views. This route starts from Ilfracombe and goes through Lee Bay, before continuing to Bull Point, then across to Morte Point, and finally to Woolacombe, where a great beach can be found.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">Kimberley (<\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/kjane_overthehedge\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\"><u>@kjane_overthehedge<\/u><\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">) suggests this route, saying this particular view near Ilfracombe is a special one.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-family:Lato, sans-serif;\">\u201cThis is a place I\u2019ve visited for many years since childhood.
